Welcome to the PTA Page.

A very warm welcome to St Alban’s Primary. We would like to introduce the Parents Teachers association(PTA) or Friends of St Alban’s - an association of parents and teachers committed to improve and enrich the life of children while they are at school by raising the necessary funds needed by the school.

Every year we organise a range of fund raising events – such as Summer Fun Day, Music Evening, Fireworks Night, Christmas Fair, Art competitions amongst others to raise money for school. The new IT Suite, Interactive Whiteboards for all the classes, all weather canopy for the Reception class, the new school website --- all have been possible because of the contribution of the PTA. Not to mention the purchase of essential curriculum resources for the school. We raise vital funds for the school and our motto is raising funds while having fun.

Every parent is a member of the PTA. We welcome new fundraising ideas and as much help and support in order to make these school events a success. The Friends is also a great way to make new friends and contribute towards the enrichment of your child’s time at our school. To introduce the children to the school and make the transition from pre-school to school easier, we run the ‘getting ready for school’ sessions and also arrange the ‘Robins Tea Party’ – a fun way to get together and make new friends.

You can help the school in any capacity be it like arranging sponsorships, being class representatives or helping at school events. To get involved please come along to any of the Friends’ meetings or coffee mornings – the dates of which are always in the weekly school newsletters or the school website.
